We’re growing a lot of new favorites!
Annuals
Annuals are flowers that must be replanted each year. Not all annuals are the same. Cool-season hardy annuals prefer cooler weather and can tolerate light frost, while warm-season tender annuals like it warm or even hot.
Our farm is in zone 6a which is characterized by extreme minimum temperatures of -10 to -5 degrees Fahrenheit.
Perennials
Perennials are flowers that grow back each year. Hardy perennials are cold tolerant, low-maintenance, drought-tolerant, and ideal for permanent garden beds. Tender perennials are a bit more sensitive to cold conditions, possibly needing protection by tunnel, frost cloth, or overwintering indoors.
Woodies & Foliage
Woodies & foliage provide year-round interest not only in the garden, but in your vase too. They may be bare, leafy, or flowering, adding structure to any arrangement. With the right care, vase life is typically longer than softer stemmed companions at 7-14 days.
