Annual Flowers
Annuals are flowers that must be replanted each year. Not all annuals are the same. Cool-season hardy annuals prefer cooler weather and can tolerate light frost, while warm-season tender annuals like it warm or even hot.
Our farm is in zone 6a which is characterized by extreme minimum temperatures of -10 to -5 degrees Fahrenheit.
Perennial Flowers
Perennials are flowers that grow back each year. Hardy perennials are cold tolerant, low-maintenance, drought-tolerant, and ideal for permanent garden beds. Tender perennials are a bit more sensitive to cold conditions, possibly needing protection by tunnel, frost cloth, or overwintering indoors.
We’re growing a variety of flowers in our first season to learn what thrives in our landscape and what our customers love most. As blooms become available, we’ll share updates with our community through email and social media.
